Students will learn how to write JavaScript code and embed it inside a Web page. Fundamental understanding of the JavaScript programming language and Object Oriented Programming concepts is the core goals of the class. The JavaScript code will be used to change the properties of browser objects, detect the type of user’s browser, create dynamic HTML and validate data entered on a form. Students will gain an understanding of the JavaScript Document Object Model (DOM).

This class is intended for web page developers who want to make their Web pages more dynamic, interactive and interesting using programming code embedded inside HTML.

To ensure an effective learning environment, it is imperative that students meet minimum course prerequisites.

This course requires:

• Complete familiarity with at least 90% of the topics covered in the outline for: "Advanced HTML Authoring".
